Integration activities introducing participants to the Finnish language and civic skills are available for Turku residents who are within their integration period and caring for children under the age of 3 at home, as well as for other women who have arrived from third countries. Childcare is provided during the activities, and our multilingual instructors are there to support you. Come and learn, ...

Do the following

You can apply to take part:

  • independently by contacting the provider of the integration activities
  • through outreach work for stay-at-home mothers
  • through a referral from Varha’s immigrant services
  • through a referral from a Customer Advisor at International House Turku
  • through a referral from Employment Services.

To whom and on what terms

You can apply to take part in the activities if you meet all of the following criteria:

  • you have one or more children aged between 6 months and 3 years
  • you care for your child or children at home and receive child home care allowance
  • you live in Turku.
