Sometimes a company exports goods abroad temporarily and for non-commercial purposes. This can take place in connection with exhibitions or trade fairs, or similar. In such cases, the company can use the ATA carnet instead of an export declaration. The ATA carnet is valid in countries bound by the Customs Convention.

Present the ATA carnet for confirmation at the Customs well in advance before transporting the goods. You can request for confirmation of the document via Customs booking service in towns with no Customs offices providing customer service.
