In street youth work, youth workers meet young people in their everyday environments — such as parks, shopping centres, schoolyards and sports fields. The goal is to be a visible, approachable adult presence and to connect with young people who do not participate in other youth services or visit youth centres.
You can approach and talk to a youth worker.
Street youth work is intended for young people aged 13 to 29. Youth workers meet young people in public spaces, and participation is voluntary for the young person.
