These services include treatments and examinations in different specialised fields, both medical and surgical. We treat and rehabilitate in a patient centred manner. When the patient is stable he or she will be discharged, either to their own home or to a follow up care facility.
The patients arrive at the ward from the emergency department, from another hospital or via referral from another care unit.
Adult patients over the age of 16 in need of specialised hospital care.
