Vernissa is Vantaa’s center for cultural youth work. Young people took over the former varnish factory in the spring of 1985, after which the building was renovated to become an art factory for the young. Various events and diverse art activities for the young – such as visual arts, theater, animation, workshops, camps and band activities – are organized at Vernissa.
