The Rock Trail

Service location

The Rock Trail that runs through Hallainvuori is 1.5 kilometres long and is marked with blue diamond shapes in the terrain. The Rock Trail runs in two sections through the diverse rocky ridge of the nature reserve (connected by an outdoor path with a cross-country ski track during the winter season). There are nature information boards along the trail. The Rock Trail includes height differences.

Accessibility information

There are no parking spaces marked as accessible in the parking area and no information board. The starting point of the nature walk is more than 500 m away. The parking area is asphalted.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located over 500 m from the starting point of the nature walk.
The nature walk is one-way. The length of the one-way route is about 1,2 km.
There are 3 information boards along the nature walk.
There are signposts. The route is marked with a logo or sign affixed to the trees.
The nature walk is hard all the way but partly uneven (bumps). The surface of the passageway is in part fine crushed rock, stones and roots.
The route contains narrow places where wheelchairs or strollers cannot fit through.
The route has steep hills, the largest of which has 6 meters height difference from bottom to top (steepest angle of ascent more than 30 %).
. The longest stairs have 15 steps or more, with handrails on both sides.
Next to the passage, there is at least one level difference causing a fall hazard, which is not bound by railings.
Along the nature walk, there are two rest stops with benches for taking a break. The benches are sized for adults, in some rest stops for children, in some rest stops for elderly and stiff-kneed (high benches).
