A plaque has been attached to the rapakivi, or rough red granite boulder, explaining that the boulder travelled from the Viipuri rapakivi area during the last ice age. The text is in Finnish and Swedish.
The work doesn’t belong to the City of Helsinki’s art collection, which is managed by HAM.
