Join our open activities or come spend time at Playground Myllynsiipi in the mornings. In the afternoons our indoor premises are dedicated to schoolchildren’s afternoon activities, but outdoor premises are open for anyone. Accessibility information

The playground is surrounded by a metal fence. Inside the fence there are asphalt-surfaced walkways. The entire play area is illuminated.
In the playground, the walkway has 3 consecutive steps.
The playground has tables and benches with free space at the end for a wheelchair or stroller. Some of the tables have been designed for children's dimensions.
The playground has swings, a slide, a sandbox, a climbing frame, a bicycle roundabout.
The swings: The swings are situated at the edge of the area. There is a wood fence around the swing area and a bench for an adult nearby. Safety sand has been installed under the swings. The play area also has a safety swing for a small child.
The slide: There is space for a wheelchair around the slide and a bench for an adult nearby. Safety sand has been installed under the slide. The slide can be accessed via a ladder.
The sandbox: The edge of the sandbox is high enough off the ground to make the sandbox wheelchair accessible. There is a bench for an adult nearby.
The climbing frame: Safety sand has been installed under the climbing frame. There is a bench for an adult nearby.
The bicycle roundabout: The bicycle roundabout is situated at the edge of the area. Safety sand has been installed under the bicycle roundabout. There is a bench for an adult nearby.

The entrance of the playground building stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
In connection with the entrance, there is 1 step.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
The activities take place on the entrance floor.
The facility has thresholds over 2 cm high.
The doors in the facility stand out clearly.
The facility has a toilet marked as accessible. The toilet seat lacks arm supports on one or both sides.
