Playground Intia is located in the Kumpula district, surrounded by a beautiful forest. Nature and forest are part of playground Intia and its play areas.

Accessibility information

There are no accessible parking spaces near the playground. The nearest parking area is within 10 metres.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located under 5 m from the playground.
Saattoliikenteellä tarvittaessa pääsy leikkipuistorakennuksen reunalle. Leikkipuiston sisäänkäynniltä ja yleiseltä pysäköintialueelta n. 50 metriä leikkipuistorakennukselle.
A smooth and sufficiently wide fine crushed rock or sand route leads to the playground. The route is illuminated.
Leikkipuistoon voi Intiankadun pääsisäänkäynnin lisäksi saapua kävellen Intiankadulta Kumpulan päästä sekä Kumpulan siirtolapuutarhoilta (metsäreitti ei ole esteetön).

The playground has tables and benches with free space at the end for a wheelchair or stroller. Some of the tables and benches have been designed for children's dimensions.
Leikkipuistossa on useampi opastaulu, mutta ohjeistus on niissä liian korkealla tai pienellä erottumattomalla tekstillä. Virallinen puistokyltti urheilukentältä leikkialueelle saavuttaessa on kasvillisuuden takana piilossa.
The playground has swings, a slide, a sandbox, a canopy, a climbing frame, a climbing wall, a wading pool.
The swings: The swings are situated at the edge of the area. There is a bench for an adult near the swings. Safety mulch has been installed under the swings. The play area also has a safety swing for a small child, a saucer swing.
The slide: There is space for a wheelchair around the slide and a bench for an adult nearby. A wet pour rubber safety surface has been installed under the slide. The slide can be accessed via .
The sandbox: The edge of the sandbox is too low for wheelchair access. There is a bench for an adult nearby.
The canopy: The entrance to the canopy is not wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair. There are no tables or benches under the canopy.
The climbing frame: Safety mulch has been installed under the climbing frame.
The climbing wall: Safety sand has been installed under the climbing wall. There is a bench for an adult nearby.
The edges of the wading pool are at ground level. The bottom of the wading pool is smooth. There is a bench for an adult nearby.
