A gym located at the swimming hall that offers excellent facilities for strength and endurance training. The sports park is located at the junction of Hämeenlinna Highway and Ring Road I, roughly 30 minutes away from Helsinki city centre.

Accessibility information

The entrance, sports facilities and dressing rooms are located on the same floor.
The service point has directions to the different facilities.
There is a toilet marked as accessible in the lobby or nearby public area. The requirements for accessibility are not met, as the door is not easy to open and close, the toilet does not have sufficient room for a wheelchair.
The customer service/cashier's desk can be found easily. The desk is accessible to customers standing only.
At the customer service/cashier's desk, you can borrow a shower wheelchair.

The facility has a separate accessible dressing room. The door opens easily manually. The doorway has no threshold.
The separate accessible dressing room features a dressing bench and sufficient room for an assistant. Good illumination and clear contrasts facilitate spatial perception. The numbering of the lockers is clearly legible. An accessible toilet is connected to the dressing room.
An accessible shower room is available in connection to the separate accessible dressing room. The door opens easily manually. The doorway has no threshold.
The shower room has a more spacious and accessible showering spot with a seat as well as a support railing.
An accessible sauna is available in connection to the separate accessible dressing room. The door opens easily manually.
The sauna has room for one wheelchair. It is possible to move onto the lowest bench from the wheelchair. The upper benches can be accessed through easily navigable steps with handrails.

The door of the gym is heavy or otherwise hard to open. Unobstructed mobility with a wheelchair or other aids is not possible in the gym. The equipment can also be accessed with aids. Some of the equipment can be used from a wheelchair. The equipment is within everyone's reach (storage height 0.8-1.2 m).
The gym features contrast differences between the floor and wall and between the floor and equipment. There is no glare in the gym.
