The Liikuntamylly weight training area provides good opportunities for fitness and strength training. Liikuntamylly is located right next to the Myllypuro metro station.

Accessibility information

The sports facilities are located on the entrance floor.
The service point has directions to the different facilities.
The facility has a toilet marked as accessible on the entrance floor. The requirements for accessibility are not met, as the door is not easy to open and close.
The customer service/cashier's desk is located on the same floor as the entrance and sports facilities.
The customer service/cashier's desk can be found easily. The desk is accessible to customers standing only.

The dressing rooms are located on floor -1.
The facility does not have an accessible dressing room. The men's/women's dressing rooms must be used instead. The door of the dressing room is heavy or otherwise hard to open and the doorway has a high threshold.
The dressing room has sufficient room for a wheelchair and assistant. Good illumination and clear contrasts facilitate spatial perception. There are lockers in the dressing room.
The shower room is connected to the men's/women's dressing room. There is no separate door to the shower room.
The facility does not have a sauna.

The 5 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is less than 3.6 m.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
The route to the entrance is smooth and sufficiently wide.
The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance are hard to perceive. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.
The customer service/cashier's desk is located on a different floor than this entrance.
For moving around, there is a lift cramped for wheelchair users; the door is heavy. The floor numbers in the lift cannot be felt with fingers. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
