Krakanpuisto nature reserve

Krakanoja brook connects to the main channel of the Vantaa River right below the Ruutinkoski rapids. The regionally valuable brook mostly flows in its original riverbed. The brook bed carved in the clay soil meanders a great deal; the water has eroded the outer groove of the brook bed, creating a brook with many sharp twists and turns.
