The Jakomäki Swimming Hall gym provides good opportunities for diverse fitness and strength training. The gym is located in Jakomäki, roughly 15 kilometres away from the city centre.

The age limit for independent training in the gym is 15 years. Small children are not permitted in the gym for their own safety. You must wear indoor exercise clothes and shoes in the gym.

The sports facilities are located on floor -1.
For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift cannot be felt with fingers. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
The service point has directions to the different facilities.
The facility has a toilet marked as accessible on floor -1. The requirements for accessibility are not met, as the door is not easy to open and close, the toilet does not have sufficient room for a wheelchair.
The customer service/cashier's desk is located on the same floor as the sports facilities.
The customer service/cashier's desk can be found easily. The desk is accessible to customers standing only.

The dressing rooms are located on the same floor as the sports facilities.
The accessible dressing room is located in connection to the men's/women's dressing rooms. The door of the dressing room is heavy or otherwise hard to open. In the dressing room, the door of the accessible section opens easily by hand.
The accessible dressing room features a dressing bench and sufficient room for an assistant. Good illumination and clear contrasts facilitate spatial perception. The numbering of the lockers is clearly legible. A toilet marked as accessible is connected to the men's/women's dressing room. The requirements for accessibility are not met, as the toilet does not have sufficient room for a wheelchair.
The shower room is connected to the men's/women's dressing room. The door of the shower room opens easily manually.
The shower room has a more spacious and accessible showering spot with a seat and armrest as well as a support railing.
The sauna is connected to the men's/women's dressing room. The door opens easily manually.
The sauna has room for one wheelchair.
