Home-based child welfare services, intensive family work (East and North)

The need for support stems from risk factors in the child’s and family’s environment. The work is planned, goal- and change-oriented and consist of evaluation, support and control. Intensive family work can support children and families, for example, in parenting challenges, parent–child interaction, upbringing (e.g. boundaries, ground rules, schoolwork) or dysfunction in everyday life.
