Arabia's horses

Kaija Kontulainen's (born 1966) Horses was unveiled on 16 June 2003 outside the primary school in the new residential district of Arabianranta. The sculpture consists of two roughly life-sized simplified horse figures. Cast in bronze, the figures reach a height of about 2 m. The artist has intentionally designed the work to withstand friendly touching and petting by children.
