School provides basic education in grades 1-6. The students of the school will study in temporary facilities during the 2026–2027 school year. Part of the students are studying at Ahvenisjärvi School and part of students are studying at Ahvenisjärvi - Konetalo (The Kampus of Tampere University).

Pääsisäänkäyntiovet ovat lasiovet. Ovien edessä on noin 5 cm korkea tasanne, jossa hiekkaa keräävät ritilät. Ovien kynnys on myös n. 5 cm korkea. Pääsisäänkäynti sijaitsee koulutalon sisäpihalla. Piha on kulkureittien osalta asfaltoitu.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
