Rental of Leirikari Camp Centre and Cultural Centre Monde

Cultural Centre Monde regular bookings:

Regular weekly bookings are made annually according to a published schedule. Priority is given to youth organizations, open youth groups, and Youth Services activities. Single bookings and events are reserved and rented through the youth activities coordinator responsible for Monde. Contact details are available on the Youth Services website.

Use of sound and lighting equipment:

Use of sound and/or lighting equipment requires purchasing technical support services from Youth Services or separate agreement. The renter is responsible for cleaning the hall after use.

Leirikari Camp Centre bookings:

Bookings and rentals are managed by the Rovaniemi City service point Osviitta. Rentals follow the current price list and are invoiced afterward.

Cancellation policy:

Users must cancel bookings in writing at least 7 days before the reserved time. Cancellations made on time are free of charge. Late or no-shows will be charged according to the price list. Youth Services may cancel bookings due to their own activities or other significant reasons, notifying the renter at least 14 days in advance.

Youth Services may also cancel a booking if:

• The facility is unavailable for urgent reasons (e.g., water damage)
• The renter has previously violated the guidelines
• The activity does not fit the intended use of the facility
• The renter has unpaid rental invoices
• The renter has caused damage to the property or its contents

Use of the camp centre is free of charge for local school and daycare groups from Monday to Thursday, excluding holiday periods, summer (June 1–August 15), and public holidays.

Rental Prices (incl. VAT):

Upper House:

• Price Group 1: €135/day — Youth activities and groups from Rovaniemi
• Price Group 2: €315/day — Other youth groups not based in Rovaniemi, youth organizations and associations, activities for young people outside Rovaniemi, adult groups (29+ years), and private individuals
• Price Group 3: €610/day — Companies and paid events

Lower House:

• Price Group 1: €85/day — Youth activities and groups from Rovaniemi
• Price Group 2: €190/day — Other youth groups not based in Rovaniemi, youth organizations and associations, activities for young people outside Rovaniemi, adult groups (29+ years), and private individuals
• Price Group 3: €365/day — Companies and paid events

Monitoritalo Monde Pricing Groups:

• Price Group 1: Activities targeted at youth organized by Rovaniemi-based associations and local youth groups
• Price Group 2: Adult groups (29+ years), private individuals, companies, paid events, and units and operators belonging to the City of Rovaniemi and its corporate group
