Redistributive income support for farmers

The payment shall be made as an annual decoupled payment per eligible hectare, to farmers who also receive basic income support.
The purpose of redistributive income support is to target more support to small farms.

You can apply for the support in the Vipu service in May–June when applying for field subsidies.

To whom and on what terms
You may receive redistributive income support if you are an active farmer and you also receive basic income support. The support is paid for the same area as the basic income support.
The smallest plot of land, for which the support can be paid, is 0.05 hectares. A precondition for the payment of the support is that the total amount of direct payments is at least EUR 500 for the support year.
