Presenting and confirming export licences

The export of certain goods is restricted, and they may not be exported abroad without an export licence.

If your goods require an export licence, you can apply for the licence from the responsible authority. Present the export licence and the export declaration to Customs.

Customs adds the markings required under the licence conditions, for example, the quantity of exported goods. Some export licences are presented to Customs online and some as paper documents.

Do the following

  1. Before starting to export the goods, find out whether the goods are subject to any restrictions.
  2. If your goods require an export licence, you can apply for the licence from the responsible authority.
  3. Present the export licence and the export declaration to Customs. Customs adds the markings required under the licence conditions.
