Do the following
Fill in the form “Notification of a qualification in pest control” and/or “Notification of business activities in pest control”. In accordance with the Chemicals Act (599/2013), Tukes records the data and maintains pest control registers.
To whom and on what terms
The operator shall be employed on a full-time basis by a responsible person who is trained in or equivalent to a professional pest control operator and who has completed a qualification in pest control. Tukes records the operator and the responsible person in the pest control company register.
Changes to the information and changes of the responsible person or termination of operations shall be notified to Tukes. If the trader is established in another country belonging to the European Economic Area and provides its services in Finland on a temporary basis, they are required to have the same permits/notifications/registrations as the traders established in Finland.
Deadline
In the case of biocidal products, an operator carrying out professional pest control shall submit a notification before the start of pest control.
Processing time
Tukes will enter the information in the registers after receiving the information.
Period of validity
The qualifications must be renewed every five years.
