Welcome to Hilma – The Support Centre for Immigrant Persons with Disabilities and long-term Illnesses Oulu peer support group!

At the meetings, we will tell you about the activities of Hilma Support Center, which supports immigrants with disabilities and long-term illnesses in particular.

Come and hear how we can offer support and peer support for everyday challenges.

Join the group

  • You can come directly to a peer support group meeting without prior registration.
  • Get information about the group
  • You will receive additional information on site about the group's meeting times, location and practical arrangements (for example, accessibility, interpretation or assistance services).
  • Participate in meetings
  • Attend to the peer support group meetings according to the agreed schedule. Participation in the group is free and voluntary.
  • Ask for additional support if necessary
  • If you need personal support or additional information about other services, you can discuss the matter with the group's facilitator.

To whom and on what terms

The group is intended for immigrants with disabilities and long-term illnesses and their loved ones. Participation is voluntary and free of charge.
