Schedules, routes, and zones

Check schedules, routes, and zone boundaries at reittiopas.tampere.fi/en/. It shows the journey from the starting point to the destination, including walking distances.

On Nysse.fi, you can view stop-specific timetables and print line schedules.

Nysse’s service area is divided into fare zones. Choose zones AB, BC, or ABC for your ticket:

• A = Tampere city center and nearby areas
• B = Tampere suburbs, Pirkkala and Ylöjärvi centers
• C = Neighboring municipalities

Tickets

Nysse tickets are valid on buses, trams, and trains. You can take multiple trips during the ticket’s validity period.

• Single ticket: valid for 90 minutes. Buy via Nysse Mobile, use contactless payment, or a travel card.
• Day ticket: valid for 24 hours. Buy via Nysse Mobile or use contactless payment.
• Season ticket: valid for 30, 90, or 360 days. Buy for a travel card. Student season tickets are available in Nysse Mobile.

Ticket prices can be found on Nysse.fi. A night fare applies in addition to the single ticket between 00:00–04:40.

Payment Methods

• Nysse Mobile: free from app stores. Ticket activates at the time of purchase.
• Contactless payment: works on buses and trams, not at railway stations. Can only be used for one person’s trips. A price cap ensures you pay no more than the cheapest single or day ticket.
• Travel card: buy via nella.fi or at Nysse customer service. Tickets also available at sales points.
• Prepaid single ticket: buy at Nysse sales points or customer service.
• Cash: accepted only at Nysse sales points and customer service.

Remember to validate your ticket for every trip

Your travel right is confirmed when you use your chosen payment method at the ticket device on a bus, tram, or railway station. Ticket inspections are carried out during trips.

Without a valid travel right, the inspection fee is €80.
