Do the following

How to find timetables and routes

The Nysse Journey Planner provides comprehensive information on travel options for the entire service area. The service works on the most common browsers, also on mobile. The service will guide you from the starting point to your destination with walks. There is also a separate timetable service on the Nysse.fi website.

How to buy a ticket for your trip

The service area is divided into payment zones A, B and C. The heart of the area is in the A zone in Tampere. Buy a ticket for two zones or for all the three zones. You can use all tickets on buses, trams and trains in the zones of your choise. Check the prices on the Nysse website.

  • Buy a single ticket for 90 minutes by using contactless payment, travel card, the Nysse Mobiili application or purchase an advance ticket from a Nysse sales point. In addition to the single ticket, the night fare will be charged from 00:00 to 04:40.
  • The day ticket is valid for 24 hours. Use contactless payment or buy a ticket from the Nysse Mobiili.
  • Buy a season ticket for a travel card for 30, 90 or 360 days. Students get an affordable season ticket from the Nysse Mobiili.

Use the payment method that suits you the best

  • Pay for the trip with contactless payment on a bus or tram ticket device. The payment instrument can be bank or credit card or a mobile device. You can use the contactless payment only for one person at the time. The charge applies to the price caps for 90 minutes and then 24 hours as well as the zones of your trips. You will eventually be charged the fare of the single or day ticket.
  • Order the travel card from the Nella.fi online service or purchase it at the Nysse customer service. There is a fee for the travel card. Purchase a ticket on your travel card from the Nella.fi online service or at Nysse customer service or sales point.
  • Download the Nysse Mobiili app from Google Play or App Store. Buy a ticket just before your trip as it starts immediately.
  • Cash cannot be used to buy tickets on buses, trams or train station ticket devices. You can use cash to buy a ticket at a Nysse sales point.

Confirm the ticket on each trip

Always confirm your ticket with the ticket device. Ticket inspectors check tickets on buses and trams in the area. If a passenger is not able to produce a valid, confirmed ticket or other right to travel, he or she is charged an inspection fee of 80 euros.
