When you kill animals or supervise the killing of animals, you must ensure that you do not cause any avoidable pain or suffering. Take into account the requirements of animal welfare regulations for killing animals. Write down operating instructions describing the killing and related operations and provide the supervisory authority with this documentation when requested.
Make sure to submit your notification at the latest 30 days before commencing the activity.
If you are starting a new business activity, submit the notification prior to commencing operation. You should also notify us if there are any material changes in your operation or if you decide to discontinue your business operations. Submit a notification of the termination of operations via electronic form (available in Finnish and Swedish).
