Notification of a fishing supervisor’s authorisation

A fishing supervisor has the right to monitor compliance with fishing regulations only within the area specified in the authorisation.

The party that authorised the fishing supervisor must notify the Economic Development Centre responsible for the area where most of the authoriser’s territory is located of the authorisation’s content and validity period within two months of its entry into force.

Submit the form to the Economic Development Centre as an attachment to the general service form. The form can also be submitted by post, by email, or in person.

Notifications from the regions of Lapland, Kainuu, and Northern Ostrobothnia must be sent to the Economic Development Centre of Lapland.

Notifications from the regions of Northern Savonia, Southern Savonia, Kanta-Häme, Pirkanmaa, Central Finland, and North Karelia must be sent to the Economic Development Centre of Eastern Finland.

Notifications from the regions of Southeast Finland, Päijät-Häme, Uusimaa, Southwest Finland, Satakunta, Ostrobothnia, Central Ostrobothnia, and South Ostrobothnia must be sent to the Economic Development Centre of Southwest Finland.

Deadline

The authorisation must be notified to the Economic Development Centre within two months of the entry into force of the authorisation.

The period of validity of the authorisation is stated in the notification.
