The Mikkeli Music Institute operates in Mikkeli, Mäntyharju, Kangasniemi, Juva and Hirvensalmi. Teaching is provided at all locations except Hirvensalmi.
The Music Institute provides basic music education in accordance with the broad music curriculum, which also prepares students for professional studies in the field. We also offer music play school education and open music institute teaching.
The actual application period for the music institute is in the spring. There may be additional applications at other times, we will announce the application periods on our website. At other times, please ask the deputy principal about available student places (juho.puikkonen@mlimo.fi). There are no entrance exams for the music institute.
There is a continuous application period for the music play school.

Only people registered in the municipalities of Mikkeli, Mäntyharju, Kangasniemi, Juva and Hirvensalmi can register for the music institute.
