Valkeakoski-opisto is a lifelong learning centre owned by the City of Valkeakoski and supervised by the Finnish National Agency for Education. Each year, the centre organises over 800 courses, lectures, and events in the municipalities of Akaa, Kangasala, Pälkäne, Urjala, and Valkeakoski.
