Interval care - Shift care - Short-term institutional care

The housing service units also provide shift care - interval care. It may be necessary that a caregiver needs a respite from caring or that outpatient services are in some way inadequate for patient´s needs.

It is possible to also use shift care to take statutory family respite from caregiving. There may be regular or occasional shifts at separately agreed times.
