Hunting permits for state-owned land

Hunting permits for state-owned areas are issued by Metsähallitus. Hunting permits are divided according to game species. Small game permits include licenses for grouse, waterfowl and hare, small predators, and beaver. For moose hunting, you must apply for an area permit.
