You can easily access home services for families with children by contacting Hemma’s customer service. We will arrange a free consultation visit, during which we will together assess what kind of support best helps your everyday life and how the service can be started smoothly.
The service can also be provided with a service voucher. In that case, discuss your situation with the maternity clinic or the social services of your wellbeing services county. After the decision, you can choose Hemma as your service provider from the county’s list of approved providers.
Home services for families with children can be provided to support the child’s well-being and the family’s daily life, for example in cases of illness, exhaustion or another special life situation.
The service can be provided VAT-exempt if the client has a functional limitation that prevents managing the services independently. Eligibility for VAT exemption does not depend on age but is assessed by a professional during the consultation visit.
The service is eligible for a household tax credit in accordance with the Finnish Tax Administration’s guidelines, if paid privately. Please note that the credit cannot be claimed for the same work if it is covered, for example, by a service voucher. In addition, families may apply for a service voucher from their wellbeing services county to cover the costs, depending on local practices.
