To whom and on what terms

You are eligible for home care if your ability to function has declined due to an illness, injury or other reason and need help with everyday activities at home. Such activities include taking care of medication, eating, bathing, getting dressed, getting up from the bed and going to the toilet.

Home care is provided either temporarily or regularly based on your needs. Temporary home care can last up to two months. This is followed by a new assessment of service needs and the client's functional ability. If the need for home care continues, the client is granted regular home care services.

Regular home care is intended for clients who have a daily need for home care services. It is also provided to clients who need assistance in administering their medication through dose dispensing.

To receive the service, please contact senior counselling either by phone, email or through the Maisa client portal.
