GENERAL GRANT
Apply for a general grant using the electronic general grant application form for sports associations. The application period for the general grant is 1 March–31 March 2026. The online form is available only during the application period.
Completing the online form requires strong authentication by the contact person of the applicant club or group. Authentication can be done using a mobile certificate, a certificate card, or online banking credentials.

In addition, an account of the use of any grant received in the previous year is required. Submit attachments as text files (e.g. PDF, DOC, Excel), not as image files (JPG, PNG).
If you are unable to submit all attachments with the online application, you may submit them after the application period. In such cases, submit the attachments electronically using the supplementary attachments form for grants. Any granted general grant will be paid only after all required attachments have been submitted.
SPECIAL GRANT
Apply for a special grant using the electronic special grant application form for sports associations. The application period is 1 April–10 June 2026.
Attach documentation explaining the purpose of the grant, such as copies of receipts. Submit attachments as text files (e.g. PDF, DOC, Excel), not as image files (JPG, PNG).
If completing the electronic application is not possible, you may use a printable PDF form. Send the printed and signed form with attachments to the registry office of the City of Raahe.
General and special grants may be applied for by sports clubs that are members of a national organisation. The applicant must be a sports club registered in Raahe or another registered or unregistered association engaged in sports activities. The administration, operations, and finances of such an association must be organised in the same manner as a registered association. The association must have rules and adult authorised signatories.

The municipality must promote the residents’ possibilities of physical exercise and sports. For example municipalities are responsible for supporting local sports associations.
Sports organisations and clubs may enquire about grants for their activities and, for example, the arrangement of sports events from the municipality in whose area they operate.
