To whom and on what terms

  • The experience is intended for participants aged 18 and over.
  • Pets are not allowed on the excursion.
  • Excursions follow Metsähallitus outdoor etiquette guidelines and a leave-no-trace principle.
  • Safe space principles and non-discrimination are observed on all excursions.
  • The excursion can be arranged as accessible on request at certain locations.
  • Forest bathing is not recommended during an acute personal crisis, as silence and emotional awareness may feel overwhelming for some individuals.
  • Excursions take place year-round in all weather conditions, except in hazardous circumstances such as severe storms, thunderstorms, or heavy rainfall.

Participants should dress in warm, weather-appropriate layered outdoor clothing and footwear. Being cold will significantly reduce comfort and the ability to benefit from the experience.
