The guidelines for daycare centers, schools, and staff dining aim to only eliminate ingredients from special diets that are necessary to ensure the well-being of the customer. No foods are avoided solely as a precautionary measure. Special diets based on customers' health needs are prepared individually. The general principle for organizing special diets is that the same diet is followed at home as well. Information about schoolchildren's and daycare children's special diets is always shared with public health nurses and school health nurses.
