The Legal Register Centre (LRC) serves as the controller of the register on bans on animal keeping. The register contains the details of bans on animal keeping imposed on individuals. The information is confidential.

Do the following

Order the extract conveniently through LRC's electronic service. Using the electronic service requires strong authentication. The price of an extract or certificate is 22 euros, invoiced after delivery.

If you are unable to use the electronic service, order the extract with a free-form application.

Information required in the application:

  • the name of the person whose information is being requested;
  • the personal identity code of the subject of the extract;
  • the purpose of the extract;
  • postage information for the extract/certificate;
  • billing information and reference number, if required; and
  • the name, address and telephone number (not mandatory) of the person ordering the extract.

Send the application to us by one of the following methods:

  • Through the Suomi.fi/messagesservice (Legal Register Centre > Register services).
  • By email to ork_yor@om.fi. We recommend the Ministry of Justice's secure messaging service.
  • By post to Legal Register Centre/YOR, PO BOX 157, 13101 Hämeenlinna, Finland. Please remember to sign a physical application.

You cannot order the extract by telephone.
