Communication instruction is arranged for the following people:
- families who have a child with an intellectual disability who has challenges with communication
- families with children with hearing impairment and
- adults who have developed a speech or hearing impairment as a result of an illness or accident.
Communication instruction does not replace speech therapy or guidance provided by a speech therapist. Nor does it replace the assessment of communication aids included in medical rehabilitation.
