For urgent matters that require attention within the same day, patients must be able to contact a health care unit without delay during office hours either by telephone or by visiting the unit. In urgent matters, call requests are answered promptly, often within the same day. The need for treatment may initially be assessed over the phone, but a final assessment will be conducted no later than within three working days following the patient’s initial contact.
