Inpatient care in primary health care is inpatient care intended for people over the age of 16, for the treatment and rehabilitation needs caused by an acute illness or deterioration in the functional ability. Basic-level and demanding basic-level ward care is provided through a referral from a physician. The patient must have a need for hospital care that does not require specialised medical care. The physician will assess how demanding the care is and the specific needs of the patient. The physician will choose the most suitable ward available for your treatment.
