Authorisation of a plant protection product and a generic product and an experimentation permit

Fill in the forms carefully and attach the necessary attachments. Authorisation applicants for plant protection products must use the concentrations produced by the soil concentration calculator in the risk assessment of soil organisms when submitting the material required for product authorisation to Tukes.

To whom and on what terms

The applicant shall have a permanent place of business in a Member State of the European Union. Non-compliance results in denied authorisation.

The authorisation of a plant protection product shall be subject to its active substance being authorised for use in the EU. The possessor of the plant protection product authorisation must report annually the quantities of plant protection products placed on the market in Finland to Tukes.


Deadline

The authorisation must be obtained before the plant protection product is placed on the market/used.

Depends on the application type.

Period of validity

Authorisation shall be granted for a maximum period of ten years.
