The identification requirement for bovine animals, sheep, goats, pigs, camelids, deer and equines can only be fulfilled using identifier models approved by the Finnish Food Authority.
Complete the application for approval of an identifier model and submit it to the Finnish Food Authority
The application form is available on the Finnish Food Authority’s website on the page concerning approved identifiers.
If the identifier model has already been approved in another EU Member State, attach a copy of the approval decision. This may speed up the processing of the application.
