An aircraft technician with a licence for maintenance of the aircraft to be inspected may apply for an airworthiness review staff authorisation. Part-ML allows airworthiness review personnel to perform an airworthiness review during annual maintenance when they also issue a certificate of release to service in accordance with ML.A.904(c).
