The service is intended for adults who need daily assistance in managing everyday life and taking care of themselves due to a mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.
You must have a decision on 24-hour sheltered housing issued by a social work professional. The service is suited for you if communal housing is not sufficient for your needs and you need strong support due to mental health or substance abuse problems in both your treatment and rehabilitation. You need support in monitoring your health and coping with everyday tasks, such as pharmacotherapy, hygiene, meals, cleaning and financial matters. In addition, you need support, assistance and a staff member’s presence 24 hours a day. You regularly need for help and support at night-time. The need for night-time support or supervision may be related to the monitoring or symptoms of psychological, somatic or substance abuse problems and your state of health.
