Kokkola Congregation Union comprises six local parishes (Kokkola Finnish Parish, Karleby Swedish Parish, Kaustinen and Ullava Parish, Kälviä Parish, Lohtaja Parish and Halsua Parish) and provide services and activities for people of all ages. The ceremonies related to different stages of life are well known but help and support in difficult life situations is also provided. Spiritual services are a special area of expertise for church employees.
Parish finances, human resources, property management, cemeteries, church records and communications are matters that are handled by the congregation union. Family counseling and hospital chaplaincy are also managed jointly. Faith, hope and love are the guiding principles for our work. Together we are strong! - We meet in everyday life and in celebration.
