The Memory Association of Kanta-Häme works in Kanta-Häme for the well-being, equality and good life of memory families and memory sufferers. We support patients and their loved ones in the different stages of the disease.
We offer free-of-charge memory counselling, peer support for people in the same life situation, various lectures, training and courses, and low-threshold meeting places through group and memory café activities. We are actively involved in provincial networks, lobbying for memory families.
The ongoing activities of the Kanta-Häme Memory Association are carried out by the Muistiluotsi Expert and Support Centre. The centre employs memory professionals. The activities are funded by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.
