Naturpolis Oy is a business development company owned by the city of Kuusamo and the municipality of Taivalkoski.
Our mission is to promote the emergence of profitable businesses and new jobs in the area, assist relocating companies and individuals in settling in the area, develop the operating conditions and environment for local businesses, and promote regional economic cooperation.
We help and support starting and existing companies in matters related to the initiation, development, and transition of their business activities. We assist companies with investment and financing planning, ownership changes, location services, and issues related to sales, marketing, and productization. We also offer contract-based long-term coaching and consulting for companies that are eager to develop and grow.
We actively collaborate across regional and national borders to develop, among other things, the area's international tourism and year-round accessibility. We carry out regional development work through diverse project activities.
The attractiveness of the area is highlighted by marketing the region's business opportunities and good municipal services. New residents are informed about the area's vitality, good recreational opportunities, peaceful living environment, and affordable housing. As a result of successful regional marketing, new businesses and residents settle in the area.
