You can now save messages and attachments from Suomi.fi Messages on your device

In Suomi.fi Messages, you can now save messages and their attachments on your own device.
With this new function, you can save important messages outside Suomi.fi Messages, such as in a personal archive.

The save function is now available in the Suomi.fi web service and will soon also be available in the Suomi.fi mobile application for Android and iOS devices.

Save either just the message or with attachments

In Suomi.fi Messages you can save:

• just the message as a PDF; or
• the message text and its attachments as a ZIP archive.

If you save the message with attachments, the message text is converted into a PDF and the attachments are provided in their original format.

New Actions menu to compile the message functions in one place

As part of the change, a new Actions menu has been added to Suomi.fi Messages. The menu is available when viewing an opened message. The menu includes the functions for saving messages, as well as the function to delete a message.

At first, it is only possible to save one message at a time. It will not yet be possible to save more than one at a time.

This change is to simplify and make it easier to save messages.
