The Tax Administration’s Incomes Register Unit has started using Suomi.fi Messages for the positive credit register. Going forward, if you are using Suomi.fi Messages, you will receive a notification in the service when a lender requests a credit register extract about you.
Notifications help you notice if someone is applying for a loan in your name or if a lender is requesting your registered data without a justified reason. You will receive only one notification per day regardless of whether one or more extracts have been requested.
You will receive a notification in Suomi.fi Messages the day after a lender has requested an extract about you from the credit register. You will be able to view the contents of the extract and the details of the lender who requested the extract by logging in to the credit register’s e-serviceOpens in a new window..
If you do not want to receive notifications about credit register extracts, you can turn them off in the register’s e-serviceOpens in a new window.. Note that you will have to visit the Suomi.fi service to read any notifications you receive. If you do not visit the Suomi.fi service within a week of receiving a notification, you will get a reminder even if you had checked the contents of the requested credit register extracts in the e-service.
