TIR quality experts registered by Customs are able to issue statements on the TIR condition of transport units.

Excavation and placement permits and/or notices for cables placed in streets and other public areas.

The Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority grants licence for transport of nuclear materials and waste in Finland or through the Finnish territory.

The sponsor of a performance study shall enter and submit an application to Fimea if the study is to be conducted in Finland.

Regularly organised cross-country motor vehicle competitions or practices also require a permit issued by the municipal environmental authorities.

Notification of general telecommunications

Extracting land resources (stone, gravel, sand, clay and earth) requires a permit.

Asphalt plant must meet the prerequisites for registration.

A building permit or other official approval is required for nearly all construction work.

The owner or holder of land must apply for a permit for earthwork altering the landscape or tree-felling in areas covered by a local detailed plan.
