Acting on behalf of a person
It is possible to act on behalf of another person in services that have activated Suomi.fi e-Authorizations. Such services include Kela’s MyKanta and the Finnish Tax Administration’s MyTax. See the relevant service’s instructions or contact its customer service to find out whether it has activated Suomi.fi e-Authorizations.
The right to act on behalf another person varies depending on the person on whose behalf you are acting. More information is available on the following pages:
- Acting on behalf of an adult
- Acting on behalf of an underaged child
- Acting on behalf of a granter of a continuing power of attorney
- Acting on behalf of a person as their guardian
- Acting on behalf of an estate of a deceased person.
To use an online service on behalf of another person, you must have personal Finnish means of identification such as online banking credentials, a mobile certificate or an ID card with a microchip.
