Transition security training is a service intended for persons aged 55 or over, who have been dismissed from their employment relationship. The TE Office must organise and grant the service to the person once the employer has confirmed the termination of employment.

Do the following
The transition security training will be agreed upon with the TE Office after the start of the customer relationship but before the start of the studies. The right to transition security training is recorded in the employment plan. The objectives, contents, implementation method, aspired start date and the deadline for starting the training are recorded in the plan. The objective is that the training can be started no later than three months after the end of the employment relationship.
To whom and on what terms
The right to transition security training rests with a person,
- who has been dismissed by the employer on a production-related or financial basis
- who has reached the age of 55, at the latest on the date of dismissal
- who has worked for the same employer for at least five years
- who has registered as a jobseeker at the TE Office within 60 days of the date of dismissal
