Suomi.fi e-Identification is a common identification service for public sector organisations to identify the end-users of their digital services.
The end-users log in to the digital service connected to the Suomi.fi e-Identification service with secure forms of identification issued in Finland. With a single login, using any device, they can securely access all the public sector digital services ...
Do the following
The organisation will receive their Suomi.fi e-Identification from the Suomi.fi-palveluhallinta (service administration) site. Use of the service requires technical integration between the organisation’s digital service and the e-Identification service. The use of the e-Identification service also requires an access license and a data permit, which defines the services’ data requirements from the population information system.
By joining the testing environment, a public sector organisation can prepare for the introduction of the Suomi.fi e-Identification service, determine the changes needed for its own digital service and test the implementation of its service. The test environment can be accessed through the Suomi.fi-palveluhallinta site.
To whom and on what terms
The Suomi.fi e-Identification service is intended for use by public sector organisations.
In order to use the service, the organisations need to integrate with it and accept the terms and conditions. The public sector organisation must integrate its information system into the Suomi.fi e-Identification service. The organisation will also need a VTJ network license issued by the Digital and Population Data Services Agency.
